Good morning everyone. Cut-off lows never go exactly as “planned”, so we once again adjust the forecast to make room for extra rain tomorrow and especially Friday. However, the reward is a beautiful and comfortable weekend (maybe).
Today goes as planned as sunshine and mild conditions take hold. We could still see a popcorn shower or storm, but we get a break with some bright skies and highs in the mid 70’s.
Clouds return tomorrow with the chance of some showers and low 70’s; but I feel the real rain concentrates on Friday with our last wave of low pressure (hopefully). Look for rain, heavy at times on Friday, with the chance of a few rumbles of thunder. Highs will be in the 60-65 range, cooler at the shore.
In theory, Saturday looks like we’ll have a mix of sun and clouds if everything gets out of the way in time. Highs will be in the low 70’s for a comfortable day. Sunday is the winner in this forecast, with sunshine and mid 70’s for a perfect day in May.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
