NYC Big Storms Possible Overnight Tomorrow

Good morning everyone. We continue to watch the timing of tomorrow’s cold front and the energy associated with it, and things look like the “action” is leaning more towards the overnight hours. The overall forecast is holding steady, with a very comfortable Friday & Saturday expected.

SATELLITE

For today, we’ll have more sun than clouds, a light northerly flow, and highs in the low to mid 80’s all the way to the shore.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds will increase tomorrow and we’ll actually be on the “cool” side. Expect a humid upper 70’s to low 80’s, the chance of a shower or storm anytime from afternoon onward, and then the bulk of the energy coming through after midnight. As of now, it looks like we have a decent shot at some nocturnal severe weather, and we’ll be keeping an eye on everything as far as timing and location.

We quiet down on Friday, with some early AM clouds, then sunshine and a breeze developing. Highs a dry 80-85.

We’ll tamp down on the breeze a bit on Saturday with sunshine and low 80’s for a very comfortable day. Sun & clouds pay a visit on Sunday, with the slight chance of a few scattered showers and low to mid 80’s.
