NYC Cloudier Cooler Day Today Halloween Forecast Holds

Good morning everyone. We have clouds drifting our way today as energy spins off to our west. Tomorrow is looking like the best day of the weekend, and our workweek/next weekend continues to look iffy as a fall pattern settles in.

For today, we’ll have more clouds than sun as expected. Showers off to our west will mainly die out as they near our area, but we could see a few scattered sprinkles during our cloudier moments. Look for highs near 60 with a light breeze.

Sunshine returns tomorrow, and we climb back to near-average with highs in the low to mid 60’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Monday is a little on the complicated side as a warmer airmass tries to visit the area, but moves in and out quickly. That’ll equate to AM clouds, then some midday sun before we cloud up again. If the sunshine times out perfectly, we’ll see some upper 60’s to near 70, but then we cool off quick after sunset.

Steady rain will head in Monday night, and that should stick with us into Tuesday AM. Clouds will stick around as low pressure will be slow to move, and we should see some scattered on & off showers throughout the day on Tuesday. Highs will be in the low to mid 60 range.

Clouds remain stubborn on Wednesday, then we should see some partial clearing and near 60 temps.

Late week and Halloween weekend remain complicated, so I am holding off on any specifics right now as far as timing. What we do know is that there is the potential for a steady rain event, or multiple steady rain events, some time between late Thursday and Saturday; leaving us with a cool, breezy, and mostly cloudy Halloween.
