Good morning everyone. We continue to watch a developing system out west that’ll impact a large part of our Nation in terms of severe weather and tornadoes. The severe weather component won’t impact us in that way, but today will be the last day of full sunshine until Tuesday.
Enjoy the sunshine today and seasonably cool conditions. It’ll remain dry with highs in the mid 50’s.
Clouds increase tomorrow and we’ll see low clouds, drizzle and fog as the return flow from high pressure gives us some gloom. Mid 50’s today feels nice with the sunshine, but mid 50’s tomorrow will make it feel raw and gloomy when you factor in the maritime influence.
Mild air works in Saturday night, and we’ll see an increased chance of showers and thundershowers on Sunday. Some of the rain and storms could be heavy at times, with gusty winds, muggy conditions, and highs in the mid 60’s.
We could see some early AM rain on Monday, then partial clearing late. Tuesday will be our first fully dry and sunny day of the bunch, with highs near 60 for a comfortable day.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
