Good morning everyone and happy Sunday. Today will be the last of the mild conditions for a little while as a cold front sags down from the north. We are in typical-March-mode in the Northeast, and 40’s & 50’s are set to return for a 5-7 day stretch.
Clouds will give way to some blue breaks before precipitation arrives. Look for PM showers and thunderstorms, some of which may contain some hail & gusty winds; especially north of the City. Highs will be in the 60-65 degree range depending on how much sun we get.
We’ll have some early AM showers and clouds tomorrow, then clearing and becoming breezy. Highs will be in the 45-50 range. Tuesday isn’t much better, but we’ll have more sunshine and lighter winds.
Clouds increase again on Wednesday and we’ll at least notch past 50 degrees, but another front will knock us back down again. Expect a chance of scattered showers on Thursday with highs in the mid to upper 50’s, then sun & clouds on Friday with low 50’s. By the weekend, chilly air returns and our last weekend in March will start out in the 40’s for Saturday.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
