Good morning everyone. We have some comfortable temps on the way, but first we have to get through some warm, humid, then hot conditions. We also have Hurricane Erin that’ll come into the picture next week as it turns out to sea long before hitting the East Coast. We’ll see some fringe-effects though, with large surf and rip currents likely next week and at minimum Tues – Thursday.
Look for mostly sunny skies today and highs in the mid 80’s. We’ll have more mid 80’s tomorrow with increasing humidity; then a hot one on Sunday with highs near 90. We could also see the chance of a scattered heavy thunderstorm or two.
Things relax on Monday with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the 75-80 range. Comfortable conditions remain on Tuesday for a carbon-copy day.
Wednesday looks more about the same, but with surf and rip currents peaking. Thursday will be rough along the beach too, with highs creeping up into the mid 80’s.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
