NYC Cool Conditions Visit This Weekend
Good morning everyone. We have a hot day ahead of us today and we near the 90 degree threshold under sunshine and humid conditions. It’s only here for a one day visit as our next system arrives and puts us into a maritime-like airmass for a few days. After reaching 90 today, possibly low 90’s in some spots, we’ll be lucky to reach 70 on Saturday with clouds and showers.
SATELLITE
Look for sunny skies, poor air quality, and light westerlies to combine for a hot day in the near 90 realm. In some cases, we could see low 90’s just west of Manhattan and also in downtown Brooklyn.
WEATHER RADAR
After some AM sun tomorrow, we’ll see increasing clouds and the chance of a few scattered showers late. Highs near 80 depending on how much sun we get.
On Saturday we cool off even more with clouds, showers, and onshore winds. Highs will be in the upper 60’s to near 70. Showers will be more of the widely scattered variety on Sunday, but clouds keep us in the low 70’s at best.
