NYC Fall Weather Coming

Good morning everyone. We have a reinforcing shot of cooler air coming down across the Northeast and New England before things quickly modify on Friday. Then we have a more significant blast of fall air coming down for late Monday into Tuesday, and that could give some areas their first frosts; particularly in Upstate NY.

Aside from that, high pressure protects us from Hurricane Milton, and we’ve already seen some big problems across Florida with tornadic storms east of Milton’s center. That trend will continue, then the destructive element comes ashore tonight across Tampa on south. Things should fully clear through by late tomorrow, then the rescue response and cleanup will begin.

SATELLITE

Look for sun and clouds today with highs in the mid 60’s, then we dip into the upper 50’s tool 60’s tomorrow with sunshine and a breeze. Lows overnight tomorrow could dip into the mid 40’s, with upper 30’s to low 40’s well away from the City.

WEATHER RADAR

Temps modify quickly on Friday, with sunshine and highs near 70. We’ll reach mid 70’s for Saturday, then knocked back down to near 70 on Sunday.

A strong front heads through on Monday, but with little fanfare precip-wise. Look for the slight chance of showers on Monday with mid 60’s, then we may not reach 60 on Tuesday with windy conditions.
