NYC Few Blue Patches Today More Sunshine Tomorrow

Good morning everyone. We’re still socked in the clouds here as high pressure building from the NNE is having a hard time getting down and pushing those clouds away. We knew this was a slow process, but I was hoping to see a few more blue patches this morning. We’ll see how things go, but I believe we will see some breaks today, then a much better day tomorrow & Friday before clouds roll back in for the weekend.

SATELLITE

We wake up this morning to cloudy skies and I did see one blue patch before clouding back up. Look for a few more patches this afternoon, with a muggy/damp feel to the air. Highs today will be near 70/low 70’s.

WEATHER RADAR

While this seems never-ending, we’ll actually go mostly sunny tomorrow. Look for a beautiful day, with mid 70’s and a comfortable feel. Expect a repeat Friday, then clouds will begin to increase overnight.

For Saturday, we go back to cloudiness throughout the day. We’ll have AM sun & clouds, then turning cloudy as the day goes on. Precip holds off as we hover around 70, then go for a cloudy day on Sunday with the slight chance of a shower. Highs Sunday should be in the upper 60’s to near 70.
