NYC Hot Weather Spooling Up For July Finish

Good afternoon everyone! We have a beautiful day today and another one tomorrow, then hot weather pays a 2 day visit for Tuesday and Wednesday. We’ll “cool” off a bit on Thursday and into the “very warm” realm, then hot weather tries to return for next weekend. We’ll be watching things very closely, because it might be here to stay for a while.

In the meantime, we have a perfect finish today with sunshine and low 80’s. We’ll cool off into the mid to upper 60’s overnight, then more sunshine and mid 80’s tomorrow. Tomorrow night begins the transition as we only dip to the 70/low 70 mark overnight.

WEATHER RADAR

Expect sunny, hot, and humid conditions for Tuesday with highs in the low 90’s. We’ll see some scattered storms pop, and while not everyone will see action, those that do may see some locally severe weather.

We’ll dry out a bit on Wednesday, but the hot weather remains. Look for more low 90’s, then we tamper it down a bit Thursday with mid to upper 80’s.

Friday onward, expect upper 80’s to low 90’s in most spots as the humidity increases once again. The long range continues to look possibly hot, with heatwave or near-heatwave parameters ramping up.
