NYC Late September Early October Feel Friday
Good morning everyone. After a hot day today and a warm, humid, and thundery day tomorrow; maritime air sneaks in for a very cool and gloomy day on Friday. That’ll be our transition day as comfortable conditions kick everything out for a glorious early-August weekend.
SATELLITE
Look for a toasty day today in the low to mid 90’s before out next frontal system begins to head in. We could also see the slight chance of a popcorn thunderstorm, but most of the action should remain inland.
WEATHER RADAR
We go for a mix of sun & clouds tomorrow with scattered showers and storms as a cooler airmass begins to approach. A wave of low pressure will develop and head to our south for Friday. This will bring extra clouds and a few showers, but the big story will be the brisk northeast winds. A steady and stiff onshore flow will keep most of the area in the upper 60’s to low 70’s for a very cool August 1st.
Things clear out on Saturday with full sunshine and high near 80. Low humidity will keep it comfortable and we go for a repeat on Sunday with slightly warmer temps in the low 80’s.
