Good morning everyone. After a cold and windy day today, we begin to modify very quickly and turn the wind machine off by late tomorrow. Mid-week is looking very nice, and a few spots may see 70 degrees over the weekend.
For today, wind advisories are up and it’ll be an unseasonably cold one. Expect sustained winds 15-30mph, with gusts in the 40+ realm. A few open spots may see those gusts nearing 50mph. Highs today will only be in the low to mid 40’s, giving our November 2nd a more mid-December feel.
Tomorrow we go from windy to breezy, and highs will modify quickly. We’ll still be unseasonably cool, but at least it’ll feel a bit warmer with highs near 50.
Mid-week is looking very nice as sunshine continues. The wind is all but gone on Wednesday, and we’re back up into the mid 60’s. We’ll have mid to upper 60’s on Thursday, then by Friday we’ll see 65-70 depending on the wind profile.
For the weekend, we remain dry and mild, with upper 60’s to near 70 expected throughout the area except for the immediate shore. With our next system not expected till next Tuesday or Wednesday, we may keep this mild stretch going into early next week.
Please note that with regards to any tropical storms or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
