NYC Leftover Clouds Showers Today Nice Weekend Ahead

Good morning everyone. We have clouds leftover today and tomorrow as our front stalls along the coast and some intermittent moisture makes it our way. We won’t have any washouts, but we could see a few raindrops here and there. Meanwhile, the weekend is looking great, and our long range looks interesting if it pans out.

SATELLITE

Look for mostly cloudy skies today and the chance of a few scattered showers. We’ll be on the cool side with an onshore breeze, and our 75-80 degree highs won’t feel as such.

We’ll repeat it again tomorrow, but the chance of showers lessens even more. Expect more 75-80 degree temps as that onshore breeze continues.

WEATHER RADAR

Sunshine returns on Saturday with low 80’s and a very comfortable day. We’ll do it again on Sunday with more low 80’s, and that process actually continues onward into the new week.

In the long range, a series of strong cold fronts will swing by. This could give us our coolest air of the season as we near Fall, and it also may protect us from the tropical activity if everything times out “correctly”. We’ll keep an eye on it all to see if it pans out or not, but the potential is there that we may not get out of the 60’s towards the end of Sept/early Oct.
