NYC Light Rain Creeps in Today

Good morning everyone. Clouds are beginning to creep in, lower, and thicken; and rain isn’t too far behind it. The majority of the energy goes to the west of us today, but on & off light rain will clip the area throughout the day. Overall, we begin another gloomy period that’s not 100% gloom all of the time, but the majority will feature clouds and some sort of moisture lurking around.

For today, look for some light rain possible after early morning blue patches. Highs will be near the 70 realm.

WEATHER RADAR

Heavier showers and rumbles are possible tomorrow, but will be of the on & off variety. Highs in the mid 60’s at best. More clouds and on & off showers are expected Thursday, and we’re on the milder side with 70-75 degree temps expected. Friday starts off with some morning sun that could boost us to near 80 degrees, then some showers and maybe a rumble are possible int he afternoon.

Look for a mix of sun and clouds Saturday with the chance of more scattered showers. It’ll be very mild to warm with highs a humid 75-80 degrees. We could have some extra sun on Sunday, but the chance of a scattered shower lingers. Highs 75-80 as well…
