NYC Long Range Outlook

Good morning everyone. Clouds have rolled in and 40’s have replaced the 80’s/near 80 temps we had yesterday. Some low 50’s are likely today before some rain heads in, but overall this is how things are looking over the next couple of weeks. While we have plenty of mild air available, there is also plenty of cold to chilly air still fighting back; so much so that we could see a few days where we see ourselves flailing in the 40’s here and there some time between April 7th and 15th.

For today, look for a cloudy day with highs in the upper 40’s to low 50’s. Rain should hold off until tonight and tomorrow.

WEATHER RADAR

We’ll have on and off showers tomorrow with the chance of a few rumbles of thunder. We find ourselves in the mild quadrant again, with highs a muggy mid to upper 60’s. Sunshine returns on Tuesday for a breezy day and highs in the mid 50’s. Wednesday is the chilliest day this stretch, with sun & clouds and highs in the 45-50 range.

More rain returns on Thursday, but it’ll be of the scattered variety. We play the mild quadrant theme again with highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s. On Friday, sun returns again as we get knocked back into the mid 50’s.

So far for next weekend, it looks as if our next system is in the works. The timing isn’t 100% yet, but at minimum, look for increasing clouds on Saturday with the chance of a few showers and cool. Look for more rain on Sunday, then next Monday looks windy and very chilly.
