NYC Memorial Day Outlook
Good morning everyone. Clouds continue to be socked into the region, with scattered showers out and about. Today won’t be a full rainout, but we could see some tropical-like heavy showers and rumbles here and there. We catch a break later in the weekend and into next workweek with sunshine and mild temps, then a new system begins to gather out west before Memorial Day weekend.
Depending on the timing, we could see increasing clouds and the chance of some showers next Sunday. Memorial Day itself is looking more and more like a cloudy and showery one, but again, timing will play a role as far as the window for rain.
SATELLITE
Look for mostly cloudy skies today, with widely scattered showers and rumbles. Some could be on the heavy side. Highs 65-70 and humid. Clouds stick around tomorrow with a few blue breaks, and we’ll have another chance of showers and storms. Highs in the mid 70’s.
WEATHER RADAR
We’ll ahem a mix of sun and clouds on Saturday with another chance of scattered showers and storms. Highs in the 70-75 range. Sunday is the best day of this stretch, with sunshine and 75-80 degree temps.
Next week starts out dry and mild, with sunshine and low 70’s both Monday and Tuesday; then we begin to watch that next system on Wednesday out to our west to see what it does and how long it takes to get here.
