NYC Memorial Day Perfection Expected
Good morning everyone. We’re expecting some really nice weather for the 2nd half of our Memorial Day Weekend, but we have to trudge through some gloom first; starting with tomorrow. Enjoy the sunshine and comfortable conditions today, because we cloud up quickly overnight and it’s going to be very raw out.
Our next system will get hung up along the coast and through back rain and maritime air for a very November-like feel tomorrow through Friday, then we’ll slowly clear out on Saturday.
SATELLITE
We have 1 more day of sunshine today with highs in the low 70’s for a pleasant day. Clouds creep in overnight with lows in the mid 50’s.
WEATHER RADAR
Temperatures remain steady or only slightly rise into the upper 50’s as clouds and rain dominate. Look for soaking rain overnight tomorrow and into Thursday, with steady ENE winds and highs only in the 50-55 range. Clouds stick around on Friday, with a few scattered showers and highs near 60.
Things slowly improve on Saturday, with morning clouds and scattered showers, then PM decreasing clouds. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60’s. Sunshine returns on Sunday with low 70’s for highs. Memorial Day looks perfect, with full sunshine and highs in the low to mid 70’s.
