NYC Metro Snow Chance Diminishes

Good morning everyone. For those looking forward to some snow, the chances of that have diminished greatly since development of our wave happens too late and too far to our east. If you were in on the forecast yesterday, I said the best chance to see anything would be Suffolk County and the Forks. Even they won’t get in on the action aside from maybe a flurry or sprinkle. Other than that, we have no big weather related news aside from a roller coaster ride of temps.

SATELLITE

Look for sunshine and chilly weather today, with a light breeze and highs in the low 40’s. Clouds increase overnight and tomorrow, but nothing will really come of it. We’ll have the slight chance of a shower or flurry, highs near 40.

WEATHER RADAR

Things clear out again for Thursday, and we’ll have increasing sunshine with highs the upper 30’s to near 40. Then we cloud up again after AM sunshine on Friday as milder air moves in. Expect highs near 50.

Our next system heads in late Saturday and maybe into Sunday AM. Very mild air ahead of the front will give us a mostly cloudy 60-65 degree day on Saturday; chance of PM showers. We’ll slide back into the 50’s for Sunday, then probably drop into the 40’s by sunset.
