NYC Much Cooler Week Ahead

Good morning everyone. Heavy rain will avoid us over the next 24hrs and slip well to our south, but much cooler temps are here and it’ll get even cooler. We’ll remain mostly dry even though clouds are with us for most of the week.

SATELLITE

Expect sun & clouds today with a little less humid conditions. Highs will be on the seasonably mild side, with temps in the mid to upper 70’s.

Things change tomorrow as clouds roll in and easterlies take over. Look for mostly cloudy skies and highs only in the mid to upper 60’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Mid to upper 60’s stick around for Wednesday, as do the clouds. We’ll begin to creep up temp-wise on on Thursday as we’ll crack 70, then increase the humidity on Friday with mid to upper 70’s. We’ll have the slight chance of showers on Thursday, then a shower or storm on Friday.

Our next chance for near 80 temps will be on Sunday, but it’s only a chance at this point. The maritime air may fight back and cool things off again for the holiday weekend. We’ll have a better chance of warm conditions again for the first week of June.
