NYC Nice Breezy Day Today Clouds Return Wednesday Afternoon

Good morning everyone. It looks like yesterday outside, but don’t be fooled. Highs today are where they’ll be as cooler air begins to push in, and winds will increase to make for a breezy day. We’ll be dry the next 2 days, then maybe some scattered light rain Wednesday & Thursday. Overall our pattern is not changing, but the big rains have gone away for a little while.

SATELLITE

We’re sandwiched in between 2 banks of clouds, so look for a period of blue skies today, then maybe some clouds in and out later on. Our mid 60 temps waking up this morning will be it as highs with cooler air heading in. It’ll be a chilly night tonight in the upper 30’s to near 40, and breezy conditions will be with us later today, overnight, and tomorrow.

Upper 50’s to near 60 will be as high as go tomorrow with blustery conditions.

REGIONAL RADAR

Wednesday will start out with some sunshine, but a weak disturbance will slip just south of us, bringing clouds our way. We’ll have the slight chance of a light shower in the afternoon/eve, and highs will be a raw mid to upper 50’s with that NE flow.

Clouds and sun continue on Thursday, and so will the slight chance of a light shower. Highs near 60.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

On Friday, we clear out and dry out, but cool air remains even with full sunshine. Highs near 60 once again.

Our weekend is looking dry but unseasonably cool with 55-60 degree temps.
