NYC November-Like Weekend in April

Good morning everyone. Aside from the east end of Long Island, the region will have a fairly decent day today before big changes happen tomorrow. Look for a front to chug in from the west, then a wave of low pressure developing along it offshore. While this won’t be a Nor’Easter, it’ll still generate enough moisture and northeast winds, to pull down some nasty maritime air for a very raw feel this weekend.

Look for a sunny start, then increasing clouds as the day goes on. We’ll be in the low to upper 60’s depending on your location and sunshine; with light northeasterlies pivoting to gentle southerlies. It’ll also be cooler at the shore due to the wind profile.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds continue to increase overnight, with rain developing some time between morning and early afternoon tomorrow. Highs staying near-steady overnight, will drop through the 40’s as the day wears on and northeast winds increase. We’ll have a cold rain overnight tomorrow with lows in the upper 30’s to low 40’s. Sunday is not much better, with morning rain and highs in the 50-55º range.

So far your workweek looks cool with low 60’s mostly, but a cooler day could sneak in for Friday May 1st depending on the timing of our next system.
