NYC One More Mild Day Coming Before Late Fall Crash

Good morning everyone. We’re on the road to some modification in temps, but not before 1 more below average day today. For those who like 65-70 degree temps, you better get out there and enjoy it because barring any anomaly, it isn’t coming back. Pre-Thanksgiving continues to look stormy, but it’s too far out to pin it down yet. If the pieces don’t come together for a big showdown, we may see a few systems cross the area between Tuesday and through the holiday weekend.

SATELLITE

Expect full sunshine which won’t do much as far as temps, and steady westerlies will help things feel even chillier. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40’s at best.

We modify tomorrow into the 55-60 range with lighter winds and more sunshine.

WEATHER RADAR

Thursday it’s game-on with front-related mild temps. We’ll have sunshine throughout most of the day, increasing clouds late. We’ll have highs in the 65-70 range, with rain moving in late overnight.

Rain should be gone by the time most get out of the house on Friday, with decreasing clouds and afternoon sunshine. Look for breezy conditions developing and temps dropping throughout the day. We’ll have highs near 50 early, then sinking into the 40’s by sunset.

The weekend is looking quiet and half-chilly, with sunshine, steady WNW winds, and highs in the mid to upper 40’s Saturday; then we modify back to average on Sunday with low to mid 50’s for highs & sunshine.
