Good morning everyone. We have a rainy and cool day today as we sit of the “wrong” side of a slow-moving frontal boundary. Slow-moving will be the theme for the rest of the month, possibly into early June, as system after system gets hung up in the region. It won’t be a rainout or gloomy day every single day, but we have a lot of on & off rain and clouds to get through for more than 50% of the next 2 weeks.
In between those clouds, showers, and rumbles, we will see some nice days with highs ranging from the mid 70’s to low 80’s. Sunday will be a good example of one of those “pauses” we will see.
For today, clouds are here as is some light rain. As the day goes on, we could see the intensity kick up a bit, plus a few rumbles possible. Highs near 60.
That frontal boundary passes by overnight tonight into tomorrow AM. Even with clouds and the risk of showers, highs should range 70-75 degrees. Friday we’re even warmer and more humid, with clouds and showers. Highs 75-80.
Look for a carbon-copy day on Saturday, then we clear out on Sunday with sunshine and 75-80 degree temps. Look for more clouds and showers to creep in next week.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
