NYC Perfect Labor Day Weekend Expected
Good morning everyone. As we wait to get through the schmutz in store for us over the next 2 days, we have some really beautiful weather behind it; setting us up for a great Labor Day Weekend and beyond. Check out the latest below.
SATELLITE
We still have this stationary front to deal with as waves of energy travel from the Great Lakes into the Northeast & Mid-Atlantic. For this reason, we’ll keep the prospect of muggy conditions and the risk on a few clusters of showers and storms today and tomorrow. It won’t be a full rainout or always cloudy, but it will be soupy in the mid 80’s.
WEATHER RADAR
Everything finally swings through late Friday, then high pressure builds in strong to protect the Tri-State area. Look for sunny skies Saturday through Monday, with comfortably mild to warm conditions each day. Highs will be in the 75-80º range throughout.
We’ll keep that momentum going into Tuesday and Wednesday, but humidity will build ahead of our next system. Highs will remain in the upper 70’s to low 80’s. Looking well-ahead, a more significant cold front could drop through late next week to pave the way for some more mid 70’s for highs or even possibly cooler to start your mid-September weekend.
