NYC Perfect Start to Workweek

Good morning everyone. We’re off to a cloudy and chilly start, but things will slowly improve throughout the day to set us up for a perfect Monday. As stated in yesterday’s forecast, we have a quick moving pattern, but we do have some 2-4 day periods of nice weather in between each system.

SATELLITE

Look for cloudy skies to eventually break up and sunshine breaking out from NW to SE. It’ll be a breezy one with highs a seasonably cool upper 50’s to low 60’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Tomorrow is a big improvement with temps peaking in the low 70’s. It’ll remain breezy with winds switching over to the southwest. This will keep things cooler along coastal sections. Tuesday is a big winner, with upper 70’s to low 80’s likely for interior parts of Long Island, the City, and points-westward. It’ll be much cooler along the shore and East End of Long Island as those southwesterlies persist.

Our next system is due in on Wednesday, but depending on the timing of showery conditions, we could see 70º once more. 60’s return for the rest of the week and weekend.
