NYC Perfect Summer Days Today & Tomorrow

Good morning everyone. After all this time, we finally string together 2 perfect summer days coming up. In true NYC style though, there will be a price to pay as heat and humidity make a return rather quickly. We’re also watching low pressure along an old front in the Southeast, but as of now there’s nothing going on. I don’t like old fronts hanging around though this time of year, so I’ll be watching it closely for any surprise development.

SATELLITE

We’ll forget the tropics for now and talk about something that’s not tropical, our weather. Look for bright sunshine today, a nice breeze, and highs in the mid 80s.

WEATHER RADAR

We’ll keep that mojo going tomorrow, with more sunshine, more mid 80’s, and more comfortable conditions. Things change a bit on Sunday as warmer conditions and humidity creep in. We’ll also have the slight chance of some AM showers, then a slight chance of some scattered PM rumbles. Not everyone will see something, and most of the action will be inland, but we’ll watch the radar. Highs Sunday in the upper 80’s.

90’s return for Monday and Tuesday, and we’ll be watching the timing of our next system to see if we get a bonus hot day on Wednesday. Either way, all signs point to a pleasant next Thursday and Friday with comfortable temps and a refreshing NNW breeze. Very warm to hot temps may try to return next Saturday or Sunday, but we are looking dry.
