NYC Quiet Sunday Midweek Rain

Good morning everyone and happy Sunday! We have a beautiful sunny day today with seasonable temps, and we’ll hold onto that then all week temp-wise. However, sunshine begins to fade on Tuesday as rain moves in for later Wednesday into early Thursday.

SATELLITE

We’ll have full sunshine today and upper 70’s to near 80. Rip currents won’t be an issue here today since Tropical Storm Alex remains compact and on the move well offshore.

Sunshine remains tomorrow with more 75-80 degree temps and dry conditions.

WEATHER RADAR

We’ll introduce some clouds on Tuesday with the slight chance of a shower, but the real rain doesn’t head in all later Wednesday and a soaking rain Wednesday night. Rain departs Thursday AM, then some sunshine returns. Highs will be 75-80, but we could crack 80 if the sun returns Thursday afternoon.

Full sunshine returns Friday, but it might be temporary with our next system due in during the weekend.
