NYC Rain Holds Off For Most of the Day
Good morning everyone. We continue adjusting the forecast to make room for extra sunshine as the last wave of energy gathers before finally pulling out by the weekend. Yesterday, we discussed that the majority of the rain will be focused on Friday compared to today, and it looks as if this hold true. However, extra sunshine and less clouds today will help boost temps into the very mild range.
SATELLITE
We have a sunny start today, then look for a mix of sun and clouds. We could see a renegade shower or storm, but most the scattered action will be N&W of the NYC area. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 70’s with the help of that extra sunshine.
WEATHER RADAR
More organized rain begins to head in before sunrise tomorrow, and we should see on and off waves of rain throughout the day. We could also have the opportunity for some embedded heavier storms both in the early morning hours and tomorrow afternoon. Highs will hang out in the 60-65 range.
Sunshine returns on Saturday and it’ll be pleasant with highs in the upper 60’s to low 70’s. Sunshine and dry conditions continue on Sunday for a perfect day in the mid 70’s.
