NYC Rain Moves Into Area

Good morning everyone. We have a gloomy period over the next few days as a weak coastal low takes shape and slowly pulls away. The good news is that the weekend itself, plus Monday, are looking fantastic.

SATELLITE

Rain heads in today and it’ll be a soaking one at that. Rain amounts will generally be on the light to moderate side and an on & off variety, so don’t expect any real flooding issues. Look for steady easterlies and highs steady in the low 50’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Rain continues tomorrow with gusty easterlies and highs in the mid 50’s. Things begin to taper off on Friday, but clouds remain with the chance of a few scattered showers. We’ll have highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.

We finally begin to clear out on Saturday, with AM clouds and some PM sun. Highs in the mid 60’s. Sunday is a winner with full sunshine and low 70’s. We could see a popcorn shower on Monday, but don’t let that cancel any BBQ plans. We’ll have a mix of sun and clouds with 70-75 degree temps.
