NYC Relief Remains on Schedule
Good morning everyone. While we have another hot stretch on the way to start your workweek, the big story in my opinion remains a strong cold front looming for the Northeast late in the week. Temporary relief is on the way and we should see a break from the heat and humidity for at least a few days. We could even see some 50’s overnight away from NYC in Northwest NJ and upstate NY.

For today, we have a warm one before we sit over that frontal boundary tomorrow. Look for sunshine, then increasing clouds late. Highs will be in the upper 80’s regardless of the northeast flow of air. We’ll have clouds, on and off showers, and a few rumbles of thunder mixed in for tomorrow. Highs will be in the low 80’s due to the cloud cover and rain.
WEATHER RADAR
The warm front fully passes through Sunday night, setting us up for a hot 3 days. Look for highs in the low to mid 90’s for Monday with full sunshine. We creep up into the upper 90’s for Tuesday, then mid 90’s on Wednesday for the last day of the heat.
A cold front will begin to swing by on Thursday, knocking us back into the mid 80’s with the chance of a few strong storms overnight Wednesday or early Thursday. Friday looks breezy and comfortably warm in the low 80’s. By Saturday, we could see temps hovering near 80 with more sunshine.
