NYC Showery Day Today Wet Long Range

Good morning everyone. Clouds have moved into the area as a wave of low pressure scoots through over the next 7-10hrs or so. This will touch off some rain in the area, and that will be the theme on and off over the next 10 days as an active pattern builds.

SATELLITE

Look for showers starting over the next couple of hours, and they’ll stick around for much of the late morning/afternoon. Highs will be near 50 today at best for an unseasonably cool day.

Things improve tomorrow, but the temps don’t considering we’ll have full sunshine. Expect a dry tomorrow with highs in the low to mid 50’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Clouds increase again on Tuesday ahead of a bigger system, and we’ll reach the mid to upper 50’s. Overnight, rain moves in and we’ll keep it going on and off for much of the day Wednesday. Highs remain stuck in the mid 50’s.

Another system behind Wednesday’s will keep clouds in the area for Thursday, and we should see more on and off rain with mid 50’s.

Clouds and sun remain for Friday with the slight chance of a shower. Temps will be more close to average with low 60’s, but then we sink back into the 55-60 realm for your weekend. Overall, we see a pretty active period with lots of opportunities for rain. Aside from a milder day here or there, we remain stuck below average.
