Good early afternoon everyone. We have a thunderstorm complex heading our way as we speak, and this should clear the air before one more round of rain overnight tonight into early tomorrow. These are the last pieces of a stubborn system that will slowly pull out and reveal some nice weather behind it. However, our next system is already waiting in the wings, and it should start impacting us by Wednesday.
Look for heavy showers and thunderstorms developing over the next 30-90 minutes, but the heaviest action goes to the south of us across central and southern NJ. We’ll get a taste of sunshine behind it, and temperatures should rebound into the mid 70’s before sunset.
Rain creeps back in later tonight and into tomorrow morning, then we’ll see sunshine developing as the day goes on. It’ll be a warm one in the low 80’s. Sunday remains looking perfect, with mid 70’s for highs.
Sunshine remains for Monday and Tuesday, with 70-75 degree temps. Clouds roll in Tuesday night, and another rainy period begins Wednesday.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
