NYC Typical March Start This Weekend

Good morning everyone. Milder conditions have taken hold to give us a little reprieve from the cold, but it’s short lived as March arrives and we transition back towards colder temps. This is a typical March start to the NYC area, and it’s very rare we start spring-like weather the first week of “Meteorological Spring”.

SATELLITE

Look for a nice day today with milder conditions in the near 50/low 50 range. Some clouds creep in tomorrow with a mix of sun & clouds and slight chance of a scattered shower. Highs in the low 50’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Wednesday looks pleasant as full sunshine returns and we are in the 50-55 range. However, clouds come back with this fast-moving pattern and we have some showery conditions on Thursday; highs 50-55. Sunshine returns again on Friday, but so does chillier conditions. Look for a steady breeze and highs in the low to mid 40’s.

A clipper swings by on Saturday with the chance of some rain and/or rain/wet snow mix. Highs in the 40’s will drop throughout the day. Sunday is breezy and cold with highs 35-40.
