NYC Unseasonably Chilly Weather on the Way
Good morning everyone. A strong cold front is set to sweep through the area, bringing with it unseasonably chilly area into New York City. We even have some late-season snow in central & upstate NY. While we won’t see any snow in our area, the drop in temps will be shocking when taking into consideration the near 90º temps we had just a few days ago.

Look for drizzle and fog to give way to rain this afternoon. Temps near 50 will drop to near 40 before sunset as stiff northwesterlies kick in.

Los will stay steady overnight tonight, then we hang out in the low 50’s tomorrow. Some areas N&W of NYC may not get out of the 40’s. Overnight tomorrow, we could see some frost and freeze, especially away from the heat island of NYC. Regardless, we still drop into the mid 30’s overnight, with 20’s and near 30 degree temps away from NYC. Look for mid 50’s, lighter winds, and full sunshine for Wednesday.
By Wednesday, we are in the mid 50’s with the slight chance of a few showers as a warm front passes through. Thursday will be near 70 for a brief mild day, then we slip back into the 60’s for Friday.
