NYC Unsettled Weather Period Begins Despite Some Blue Breaks

Good morning everyone. We continue to see some blue skies over our area for the moment, but clouds are off to the west and slowly drifting our way. That sun will help boost our temperatures warmer than previously forecasted, but the prospect of storms concentrating away from NYC today holds firm. Other than that, we will have the chance of some showers and rumbles each day until Friday.

SATELLITE

Look for sun and clouds today, humid and warm conditions, and highs in the low 80’s. We could see some severe weather N&W of the NYC area this afternoon, and we’ll watch closely to see of any rogue cells sneak in.

Mostly cloudy skies rule tomorrow, with scattered showers possible tomorrow and low 70’s for highs.

WEATHER RADAR

Same goes for Monday and Tuesday as we hover in the upper 60’s to low 70’s. We could also see some embedded storms with locally heavier rain.

Look for more clouds on Wednesday with the slight chance of a few showers. Highs will be near 70 or the low 70’s.
