NYC Very Warm Hot Five Day Stretch Begins Tomorrow

Good morning everyone. We have one more cloudy day today and then I promise we turn things around tomorrow. After that, we have a very warm/hot 5 day stretch on our hands before things cool off late week next week.

The last of our energy is moving through today and as of now, most of the rain is staying offshore and/or away from our area. However, as our warmer and more humid airmass starts to push this away and the sun (not the sun we’ll see) works the atmosphere, it may spark some widely scattered strong to severe storms later this evening. We’ll keep an eye on the radar to see what pops up, otherwise expect a mostly cloudy day with highs in the mid 70’s.

Tomorrow we turn things around and go sunny and very warm/hot. We’ll do 85-90 tomorrow, then upper 80’s to low 90’s Sunday.

Upper 80’s to low 90’s continue Monday through Wednesday, then a cold front will give is the chance of storms late Wednesday. That cold front will help sink us back to the low to mid 80’s Thursday, and we may cool off even further Friday through next Sunday if things get hung up along the coast.
