Good morning everyone and happy Hump Day. We’re off to a sunny start today, but things will change quickly as a vigorous low press systems heads our way. That’ll give us the chance of some heavy showers and storms, but not everyone will see the heaviest action. Other than that, mild air dominates with no hot air in sight until possibly the last week of the month.
Look for increasing clouds today with PM showers and embedded storms. Some of these storms could wind up being locally severe, especially north of the City. We’re not out of the woods though, and we’ll be watching the radar every closely. Biggest threat remains strong winds and small hail. Highs today in the mid 70’s.
Tomorrow we do full sunshine and dry conditions with highs near 80.
Another system swings by for Friday, giving us mostly cloudy/cloudy skies, and the chance for some more showers and embedded storms. Highs will be a humid mid to upper 70’s.
Some sunshine returns on Saturday with a mix of sun and clouds, slight chance of a shower. Highs will be 75-80, then full sunshine again for Sunday with highs near 80/low 80’s.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
