NYC Warm & Muggy Conditions Return Tomorrow
Good afternoon everyone. We have a much cooler day today as we sit on the boundary of warmer and muggier air slowly advancing back into the region. We’ll have a round of scattered showers and storms tomorrow as that airmass advances, then we bake on Sunday under full sunshine. Overall, we are mostly on the very warm to hot side as we settle into a summer pattern.
SATELLITE
Look for increasing clouds today as we remain unseasonably cool. It’s still “mild” by anyone’s standards, but near 70 temps feel cool compared to the 95-100 degree temps we had.
WEATHER RADAR
Clouds dominate tomorrow with muggy and very warm conditions. Look for highs in the 85-90 range with some scattered AM showers. We’ll also have a chance of some PM storms, but most of them will be N&W of the area. Any storms that do pop up, could be on the strong to severe side.
Sunshine returns on Sunday with near 90 temps and muggy conditions.
We start the workweek off with a mix of sun & clouds, highs near 90 again. We could also see a PM storm or two.
