NYC Warmer More Humid Today

Good morning everyone. We’re on day 3 of a really nice, precip-free stretch, but warmer air is creeping in as is the humidity. We’re back in full summer-mode tomorrow through Monday, then watch for the timing of a front for Tuesday.

SATELLITE

We’re looking golden today with full sunshine in the AM, mid 80’s, and some humidity creeping in. High clouds and puffy cumulus slowly drift our way for the afternoon, but they won’t impact the temps or sunshine.

WEATHER RADAR

Tomorrow we go very warm/hot and humid. Look for upper 80’s to near 90, and the chance of a thunderstorm as a drier boundary makes its way towards us. Most of the action will be in the interior, but we could see a stray early morning thundershower, then another batch popping up between evening and midnight.

That front won’t do much to the temps, but it’ll cut the humidity. Regardless, Sunday is hot, with temps near 90 and full sunshine.

Monday we go for 90 again, but the humidity will begin to creep up as our next front nears. We’ll have the slight chance of a thunderstorm, and the best chance will be on Tuesday. I’m holding off on the temps for Tuesday right now to see the timing of that front.
