NYC Weekend Temp Forecast Modifies

Good morning everyone. We have some good news for those looking to do activities our first weekend in December, and bad news for those who like snow. Our weekend chill has lost its bite, and air seems to modify fairly quickly before it gets here. We also have a few “mild” opportunities, and if those come to fruition, that’ll knock down the chances for any first measurable snowfalls.

SATELLITE

Look for morning sunshine then increasing clouds late. That will be due to our next front, and we could see a few showers overnight. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 40’s.

Clouds will stick around tomorrow with a few blue patches. It’ll be breezy as that front nears, with winds gusting possibly in the 25-30mph range. Highs will be a relatively mild mid 50’s.

WEATHER RADAR

Cooler air rushes in behind that front, and we dip back into the upper 40’s for Friday. The chill simply has no bite, and we’re near 50 both Saturday & Sunday under sunny skies w/ dry conditions.

Our next chance for some rain will be on Monday with our next cold front. Depending on the timing of our system, we could see 55-60 degrees ahead of the front. We’ll rinse and repeat the cool-off process, and we’ll see if a system sneaks in mid-week next week to touch off some snow upstate & into New England. Other than that, we are on the fairly quiet side to start December.
