NYC Wind, Rain, and Rumbles Possible

Good evening everyone. Dry and chilly weather sticks around for one more day, then we begin to modify temps for a 48hr period ahead of a powerful system. Vigorous low pressure goes well-north of the region, but it’ll drag a strong front across on the area Friday.

SATELLITE

Look for windy and chilly conditions tomorrow. Winds could gust into the 25-30mph realm, with temps in the upper 30’s to low 40’s as highs.

WEATHER RADAR

We start out with sunshine and near 50 degree temps Thursday, then clouds and a SSW flow increase overnight. Look for scattered showers to develop ahead of the front. On Friday, we’ll see early mid 50’s before temps fall int he afternoon. During this process, look for gusty showers that could be heavy at times. Also, don’t be surprised to hear a rumble or two. Best chance to see some thunderstorm action will be well to our west, and some of those could be on the strong side.

By Saturday and Sunday, we sink back into the 40-45 range under sunshine and blustery conditions.
