NYC Quiet & Mild Pattern After Today

Good morning everyone. We have a real nice 7 day forecast coming up as the final disturbance passes through today, bringing with it some mild & dry conditions. A semi “omega block” will protect the area for a little while, with most of the humidity and moisture pushed into the Southeast.

SATELLITE

Look for a mix of sun & clouds today, then a chance of some scattered PM storms. While not everyone will see something, those that do could see some locally severe conditions. Biggest threat will be gusty winds, hail, frequent lighting, and torrential rain. Highs today 80-85 in most spots.

WEATHER RADAR

That sinking, weak cold front paves the way for high pressure to dominate the scene. Look for steady northies tomorrow, with full sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 70’s. We’ll have more of the same on Friday, but we could hit 80º as winds turn more westerly.

Saturday and Sunday are both gems, with mostly sunny skies and mid 70’s for highs. We’ll start the workweek next week with a continuation of dry conditions and mid 70’s.
