BEAUTIFUL NYC SPRING DAY TODAY BEFORE RAIN RETURNS TOMORROW
Good morning everyone. We have a beautiful day today before clouds, showers, and humid conditions arrive tomorrow in the NYC area. This will be the second wave of many in our showery and on and off cool pattern for the next couple of weeks.
EASTERN SATELLITE
We’ll have full sunshine today before increasing clouds much later. It’ll be a pleasant spring day in the entire area, with highs in the mid 60’s, cooler at the shore. Clouds lower and thicken tonight, then we’ll have a slight chance of showers after midnight.
REGIONAL RADAR
Expect morning steady rain as a warm front swings through, then we should get a break before another chance of rain popping up at anytime from mid to late afternoon/into the night with the cold front. It’ll be cloudy and humid, especially after that warm front wings by. Sunshine will be hard to come by, so we’ll keep the temps in the 65-70 range, but leave the door open a crack for some 70’s in case we get some surprise peeks of sun.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
On Tuesday, stubborn clouds may give us some morning showers, then we’ll clear things out partially. Cool air will lag behind this system as it’ll take time to clear the entire east coast. Highs Tuesday in the low to mid 60’s.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
Wednesday and Thursday remain looking dry but seasonably cool, then another system will move some rain into the area for Friday and possibly to start next weekend. The long range continues to look very April-like, with nothing extreme going on, just your typical temp swings and showery conditions.
