Busy Tropics Quiet Northeast

Busy Tropics Quiet Northeast

Hello Angry Ben fans and followers. Joestradamus here with a very quiet and comfortable forecast. The tropics remain busy and I continue to keep an eye on Karen’s fate, but otherwise things are very simple here at home. Even the warm days scattered about are not really a big story since they’ll be comfortable too.

SATELLITE

storm free

The Northeast satellite is once again clear and quiet. Sunny skies with mid to upper 70’s will be the story today for the region.

REGIONAL RADAR

storm free

The radar is also quiet, but we should see a few showers and storms heading into the Northeast tomorrow with an associated cold front. Don’t expect any big action, just the slight chance of an afternoon shower or storm and that chance going into the night time as well. Low 80’s are possible tomorrow with maybe some mid 80 readings if there’s extra sun.

LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY

storm free

The NYC metro area sinks back down into the mid to upper 70’s Friday, then low 80’s once again on Saturday. The weekend continues to look like a split due to another cold front sinking down across the Northeast. This one should pass through with no precipitation, but shift the winds to a NNE direction. Sunday is looking like a cooler and breezier day in the mid 70’s.

LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
storm free

The tropics remain busy while we remain quiet, but I have to keep an eye on Karen to see what she does. All in all, I’m not expecting anything major out of this for the SE coast, but it bears watching anyway.

MANY THANKS TO TROPICAL TIDBITS FOR THE USE OF MAPS
