High Surf From Teddy Otherwise Quiet With A Warmup
Good morning everyone. Hurricane Teddy looks to make a close pass to the east of Bermuda, sparing the island from big harm, and it’ll also send high surf our way through tomorrow. Otherwise we have a very quiet week and next weekend ahead with modifying/warming temps.
SATELLITE
Today will be our last day of 60’s here in the NYC area. We’ll also have a nice breeze under full sunshine. Overnight, lows will once again drop into the crisp realm, with upper 40’s to near 50 on the heat island, and 40’s away from the NYC area. Some 30’s may be found again well N&W.
REGIONAL RADAR
After a crisp morning, we go for low 70’s tomorrow for another quiet, sunny, and comfortable day.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
The breeze relaxes on Wednesday as does the surf, and we’ll be warming up into the upper 70’s to near 80. Thursday and Friday look more like the same, with upper 70’s to near 80 temps throughout; under full sunshine and no prospect of rain.
Your weekend is looking mild and comfortable, with some extra clouds as moisture begins to increase along the east coast, and temps hang in the mid to upper 70’s.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA
Our first real chance of rain probably won’t come till next Monday or Tuesday with mild to warm temps continuing, then another big cool-down is expected probably by mid to late week next week.
