Good morning everyone. Our cold front is well-past the Tri State area, clearing the way for a perfect late-summer day today. Some instability could creep in tomorrow, but the majority of the energy looks to set up N&W of the NYC area.

SATELLITE

Look for blue skies, relatively low humidity, and low down dew points for this time of year. Light NW winds will keep things dry as we barely reach 80. Some spots away from the City could stay in the upper 70’s for a perfect day.

WEATHER RADAR

Winds switch over to the southwest for tomorrow as humidity increases slowly. Look for sunny skies in the morning, then increasing puffy clouds late. This will be from the result of the sun working the atmosphere as instability increases. We’ll have the risk of some widely scattered popcorn-variety showers and storms, but most of the action will be concentrated inland. Highs tomorrow will be in the low to mid 80’s.

Soupy conditions with low to mid 80’s remain for much of the workweek. We’ll start off with the slight risk of showers and storms Monday; with an increasing chance of rain as the week goes on. An approaching front should pass through before Friday, clearing the way for a sunny and comfortable end to the first week of September and the start of Labor Day Weekend.
