NYC Beautiful Encore Today Severe Weather Possible Tomorrow Evening

Good morning everyone. We have ourselves a beautiful encore as we line up two perfect days in a row. However, tomorrow is a complicated one forecast-wise, with sun & clouds sandwiched in between 2 rounds of rain. Hot weather returns on Monday, and that should pay a 3 day visit before we get into some relatively comfortable weather for the end of the week/beginning of the weekend.

Today is an easy one, with bright sunshine, comfortable conditions, and highs in the mid 80’s. Clouds will creep in later this evening/overnight, and that has to do with our boundary of hotter air coming in for Monday.

WEATHER RADAR

We’ll start off tomorrow with scattered showers dotting the area. Not everyone will see rain, but for those that do, you may see some gusty conditions with those showers and some moderate rain. Blue patches and some sunshine pay a visit for the afternoon, and that’ll add the fuel the atmosphere needs to spark off some heavy storms in the evening. Best chance to see action will be just north of the NYC area on south, so we’ll be watching central NJ, NYC, and Long Island closely for some potential severe weather. Highs tomorrow in the mid to upper 80’s and more humid.

90’s and sunshine return on Monday, and we’ll do low 90’s for Tuesday as well. Near 90 temps are on the menu for Wednesday, then we’ll be watching the timing of our next system to see when more rain pays a visit for Thurs or Friday. Either way, comfortable weather will rush in behind the front, and we should keep that going for next Saturday and Sunday.
