NYC Beautiful Week Ahead With Maybe Some Bonus Days
Good morning everyone. Our taste of “Storybook Spring” continues after weeks and weeks of cool weather and cloud dominant periods. We’re keeping an eye on it all as we look for a few trick plays here and there, but there’s nothing in immediate future, so enjoy the next 6 days.

Bright sunshine dominates the day again today, with mid 70’s through most of the area. We could see a few upper 70’s here and there where the wind is dead, and also 70’s dropping back into the 60’s along the shore if the Seabreeze kicks in again like yesterday. It happened here yesterday in Long Beach, where we were 72 at 1:30pm and 66 at 1:45. With the water temps below average, it doesn’t take much to cool things off.
Look for much of the same tomorrow as things continue to cooperate. Expect sunshine and mid 70’s throughout the area.
There are a few issues on Monday with cooler air trying to sink on in from the maritime. How cool it gets will depend on the cloud cover. If we have more clouds than sunshine, mid to upper 60’s will be on the menu. If the sunshine is able to hold on, we should see upper 60’s to low 70’s. We’ll keep an eye on that one, and Monday seems to be the only tricky day till Friday.
Full sunshine and mid 70’s return on Tuesday, then we go warmer on Wednesday and Thursday with sunshine and upper 70’s to low 80’s.
As stated above, Friday looks tricky as does the weekend. A maritime flow is going to try and fight back. If the warm air wins out, look for the continuation of upper 70’s to low 80’s for Friday and possibly Saturday. If not, we could slip into the 60’s. Even though other outlets are fully committing to the forecast, I’m going to hold off because it’s a close call in my eyes right now. We should have a clearer picture midweek.
