Good evening everyone. Bitter cold air is settling in across the Northeast as a weak system scoots well to our south; bringing some light snow across the Mid-Atlantic. Overall, we have a colder-than-average pattern, with several reinforcing shots of below average temps.
Look for blustery conditions and clear skies tonight. Temps dip into the 15-20 degree range, with single digits possible well north of the City. We’ll have some early sunshine tomorrow, increasing clouds late. Highs will be in the 30-35 range, with the slight chance of a few passing flurries or snow showers overnight.
Your weekend is looking chilly, with sunshine both days and highs in the upper 30’s to low 40’s at best.
Another reinforcing shot of cold air moves through, helping to start the workweek off on a cold note. Look for a mix of sun and clouds Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the mid 30’s.
Please note that with regards to any severe weather, tropical storms, or hurricanes, should a storm be threatening, please consult your local National Weather Service office or your local government officials about what action you should be taking to protect life and property.
