WEATHER IN 5/JOE & JOE WEATHER SHOW PODCASTS
NYC Cold Nasty Day Today & Chilly Halloween Tomorrow
Good morning everyone. As promised, more rain has headed in, as well as some unseasonably cold air into the area. That’s helping to provide us with a nasty and bone chilling day today, with some snow in the interior Northeast.
SATELLITE
Expect the cold rain to continue and temps to drop. On the 5 day forecast, I put today’s high temp at 45, but we already reached it overnight. We are now in the low 40’s and we should hang around that mark until overnight, where lows will be in the low to mid 30’s in NYC proper; 20’s possible away from NYC, especially in the Pine Barrens of Long Island, and N&W of NYC.
We could also see a few wet snowflakes mix in before things come to an end, but no accumulation is expected.
REGIONAL RADAR
Tomorrow we clear out for a sunny day, but mid to upper 40’s stick around for a chilly Halloween. We’ll dip back into the 30’s again overnight, but not as cold as tonight.
LOCAL RADAR NEW YORK CITY
We’ll have morning sun on Sunday, then increasing clouds late. There’s the slight chance of a shower, but Sunday looks to be the best day of weekend temp-wise as we rise back up to near-normal. Highs will be in the 55-60 realm.
LOCAL RADAR PHILADELPHIA

Next week goes chilly again with mid to upper 40’s to start the week, but we’ll be on the dry and sunny side.
